You are only charged for successfully sent outbound texts – nothing else! Starting December 2023, Switchboard lowered prices for all toll-free verified + registered traffic.

  • Pricing for local unregistered traffic can be found here.
  • SMS vs. MMS:
    • SMS segment: a message up to 160 characters* with no media attached.
      • An SMS segment with an emoji only has 70 available characters.
    • MMS message: a message above 160 characters and/or has media attached.
  • No commitments, minimums, setup fees, or prepayment. No charge for inbound messages, cleaning landlines from your lists, or for messages that result in an error.
  • Pricing is inclusive of telecom fees. 
  • Each account receives a $30 credit so you can try things out, no strings attached!
  • Use our pricing calculator to clearly see how much your messages will cost.
  • Registration and Verification:
    • We can process requests anytime and encourage you to submit requests as early as possible (especially for new races). Even if you are still finalizing texting plans, getting a toll-free verified or 10DLC registered number ahead of time allows you to benefit from better prices and deliverability from day 1.
    • There is no cost to register or verify numbers.

  • We know that starting up a new email program or pivoting to a new email tool mid-cycle can be daunting, so we are offering Switchboard Email for free for most programs through the 2024 cycle. Sign up for a demo here – we can get new programs up and running very quickly!
