Analytics Dashboard
Use our free Analytics Report to keep track of all of your fundraising data in one place! Once you have an ActBlue connection setup with us, this report can be generated immediately in your account (for free!). No need to text or email with us, this tool is always free to use.
Customize channel-specific fundraising data
By default, we look for keywords included in your ActBlue refcodes and form names and match them to the major fundraising channels. In order to avoid over-matching, we only include refcodes or form names with the below phrases if they are surrounded by non-letter characters or are at the start/end of your refcode or form name. This is the default channel mapping we use:
If you have a naming convention you use for your organization(s), please make a copy of this template and send your channel mapping to support@oneswitchboard.com and we can update your analytics reporting. If you use the same logic for multiple organizations, you only need to fill this out once.
Use asterisks (*) if you want us to search anywhere in the refcode or form name. Note that if a donation matches multiple rules, we will search in order of these rules and use the first match.
Understanding the Phone list value tab
This tab can help you track the amount raised from numbers that are on a specific phone list.
Methodology:
- We match numbers on a phone list to ActBlue contributions through one of the following methods:
- If the phone number donated via ActBlue after clicking a Switchboard tracked link.
- If the phone number is linked to an email address that donated via ActBlue after clicking a Switchboard tracked link.
- The phone number on your Switchboard list matches the phone number provided when the donor fills out their personal information on the ActBlue contribution form.
- The phone number on your Switchboard list is linked to an email address that matches the email address provided when the donor fills out their personal information on the ActBlue contribution form.
- We exclude donations that match based on faulty contact fields (like invalid phones or emails) or match to more than 10 phone numbers or 10 email addresses based on the contact linkage. We do not exclude donations that are linked via (a), (b), or (c).
Using this feature: Choose a list in the drop down menu. Any list you’ve created on Switchboard will show up here, regardless of if you’ve send a broadcast to that list.
- New to Universe Only (toggle): When selected, the dashboard will only show data associated with any phone numbers that were first seen in Switchboard, as part of the selected list.
- Via Switchboard Tracked Link (green bars) shows how much was raised by these phone numbers directly from Switchboard broadcasts via phone/email linkage (requires Switchboard shortlink + tracking).
- Via Email Linkage (yellow bars) shows how much has been raised from email address(es) associated with the phone numbers on this list.
- Off Switchboard (not texted) - light blue bars show the total amount raised from these numbers, even if you have not yet texted them on Switchboard.
- Off Switchboard (texted) - dark blue bars show how much has been raised from these numbers after they have individually received at least one text via Switchboard. This is beneficial if you’re trying to get a sense of what down-the-road donations can be attributed to this list, without including donations that these people already gave before you texted them.
- Charges to List Phones (black line) shows how much you have spent on Switchboard broadcasts to these numbers.
- Lifetime raised: total raised from all numbers on the selected phone list for this ActBlue entity.
